Trauma Care - Filter Your Thoughts
It is often said, think about what you think about. Most of our thoughts are created by bias opinions and undesirable life events. It creates beliefs and drives behaviours. We can’t believe everything we think, it is important to filter our thoughts with the truth of God’s word.
Use Philippians 4:8 to filter your thoughts.
Ask yourself, what I am thinking, is it: True? Pure? Right? Noble? Admirable? Excellent? Of good report?
Here are some examples of how to filter your thoughts:
Thought Filter
I am abandoned The Lord shall supply all my needs (Philippians 4:19)
I am alone I am with you always (Matthew 28:20)
I am powerless I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy
(Luke 10:19)
