Pray for Prince Edward Island

As Canada celebrates 150 years, join Gather Women on the 1st of every month as we pray for our nation. Let’s celebrate with thankful hearts the rich diversity of each province as together they unite and strengthen our nation. This month our prayer focus is on Prince Edward Island.

• Pray for Premier Wade MacLauchlan as he provides leadership and oversight to the people and economy of Prince Edward Island.
   
• Pray for the varied industries of Prince Edward Island. Particularly for the federal and provincial trade missions that will benefit PEI’s economy by increasing the Island’s world presence.
   
• Pray for the consistency and growth of the Natural Resources. The economy strongly depends on the Fisheries, Farming, and Forestry industries. Also, with spring and summer approaching, pray for the tourism industry that welcomes an increasing number of visitors each year.
   
• Pray for the many government leaders, teachers, and principals in local schools. They are looking to use new funding to provide financial and professional supports for programs to support children dealing with mental health issues, problems at home or other challenges.
   
• Pray for ministry events taking place at local churches, including discipleship training courses as well as community outreach events.
   
• Pray for the Christian leaders, for strength and perseverance in ministry. We ask God to open hearts to renewed vision for reaching the people of the Island and beyond.
