Motivation Monday - Why The Truth Is Your Freedom And Your Victory

My prayer for you is that you would embrace the gospel truth that God has already decided He is the only one who merits the victory, and the only one with the power to take you to yours.
— Cathie Ostapchuk

Do you wonder, like I do, why much of what is going on around us and in us is not what we signed up for. We didn’t count on a pandemic nearly taking us out of the game, or civil unrest disrupting our sense of safety and confidence on our soil.

We didn’t sign up for following a God who doesn’t fix everything in our life on demand, or even guarantee that things will get better.

So what happened to the confidence we had in God’s pre-pandemic and pre-uprising ability to surely come and rescue all of us from the uncertainty that has dug in deep in our souls and in the fabric of our nation?

I don’t know about you, but I still choose to stand on a faith that refuses to be shaken, even in and especially in a world that has spun itself into a divided frenzy of opinions, especially when it comes to freedom.

How do you and I fight battles with undefined and multi-layered timelines, outcomes and definitions of freedom?

There are some battles God fights for you.

There are some battles God fights through you.

Stay the course.

As I look around me, look inside me and then look to God’s word, one thing becomes increasingly clear.

Freedom will never set anyone free.

Truth, however, will.

The loudest voices of the world cannot agree on what freedom is. They probably never will.

You can stand secure and be in agreement that truth is the only thing that can set you free: and that truth is a person and that truth is Jesus Himself.

My prayer for you is that you would embrace the gospel truth that God has already decided He is the only one who merits the victory, and the only one with the power to take you to yours. Don’t give up. He is still sovereign. He still has your best future and His best purposes as His intention.

Continue to look to the truth of God’s promises. He has not only accomplished His victory, but in doing so, He has accomplished yours.

Let Jesus be your vision, your inheritance, your truth whatever befall. That includes this cultural moment.

Riches I heed not, nor vain, empty praise
Thou mine inheritance, now and always
Thou and Thou only first in my heart
High King of heaven, my treasure Thou art

High King of heaven, my victory won
May I reach heaven's joys, O bright heaven's sun
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall
Still be my vision, O ruler of all

Psalm 51:7

“Lord, shape a Genesis {new} week out of the chaos of my life.”

I pray for you where you are. May you receive the news that God is the source of the only truth that can set you free and take you to victory.

I believe in you.
God bless.

Cathie
