You may have heard the word cleanse and cringed at the thought of it. But here’s the good news. The body has the ability to cleanse itself naturally without going on some restricted diet! It does this through organs such as the liver, kidneys, lungs, colon, and skin. When we help our organs along, we can support our body in the cleansing process.

Here's How:

1. Drink more filtered water. It aids in digestion, nutrient absorption and it cleanses the body by removing waste.

2. Increase foods/beverages that are high in antioxidants which help fight off cell damage caused by free radicals. Vegetables, berries, fruit, nuts, green tea, cocoa just to name a few.

3. Add sulphur containing foods which help eliminate heavy metals like mercury and cadmium. For example: Broccoli, onions and garlic.

4. Switch to natural beauty and cleaning products which don’t contain harmful chemicals which mess with your hormones and wreak havoc on the body’s ability to cleanse.

5. Move your body everyday, (exercise). It decreases stress, improves mental clarity, and improves circulation. Sweating is also a great way to reduce toxins.

6. Meditate on scripture. Sometimes the mind can build up “mental toxins”. We can cleanse the mind by replacing negative self talk, doubt, worry, fear, insecurity, unworthiness and so on with the truth found in the Word of God.
