Day 13: Faithfulness

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever

Psalm 100:5 “For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.” 

1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

• Spend a moment in reflection and praise as you think about God as ‘Faithful One.’ Celebrate with thanksgiving!
• Ask God to fill you with his Spirit so you can be a faithful follower of Christ, a faithful spouse, friend, parent, employee, sibling or daughter.
• As David prayed for Israel and for his son Solomon, pray for your family, friends and church to “. . . keep this desire in the hearts of Your people forever, and keep [our] hearts loyal to You. And give [us] wholehearted devotion to keep Your commands, requirements and decrees . . .”” (1 Chronicles 29:18-19).
• Pray the fruit of faithfulness for those believers facing persecution. Pray their faithful devotion to Christ would not be shaken.

“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23
